I kind of wonder why the battle of Vicksburg was suppose to such a big battle for both teams but then that battle was so lopsided. I mean the Union totally crushed the Confederate. I got a little confsed though, how you know that General Lee was cautious? From what I have seen in other Civil War movies and in books General Lee usually takes a bunch of risks. For an example in the battle of Gettysburg when General Lee attacked the Union with General Picketts Infantry he took a chance. I think that I would need to know why you think that. I also think that both Generals should stay cool, and Grant made the right decision. As I said before you had a great blog entry 170672.170693https://www.blogger.com/profile/08028931704640656047noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5653680647193098425.post-11798475188029479212010-03-22T06:33:00.263-07:002010-03-22T06:33:00.263-07:00Nice blog post. Were did you learn that General Lee was cautious? Why wasn't the Confederates problem solved was it because the Union won the Battle for Vicksburg? I think that General Grant made the right decision by being cool and believing in himself. Great blog entry 170672170581https://www.blogger.com/profile/13295783537244976335noreply@blogger.com
